Marc Cairns is an architectural designer, gallerist and project director based in Glasgow, Scotland.
Co-founder and director of Pidgin Perfect, a multi-award winning creative studio established in 2011 which brings together people, clients and place to help build better communities for everyone. Pidgin Perfect uses a unique multi-skilled approach combining research, participation and design (RPD) around the built environment, placing the community at the heart of their projects.
Pidgin Perfect proudly represented Scotland at the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale as part of the project βCritical Dialoguesβ, the project also received the prestigious Royal Scottish Academy Medal for Architecture.
In spring 2012 Marc began his role as a director of MANY, an arts organisation and studio provider located in the Merchant City of Glasgow. In this role, Marc also supports the development and programming of The Telfer Gallery, an artist led contemporary art gallery hosted by MANY Studios.
